FEP Heat Shrinkable Tube
FEP heat shrink tubing, due to its relatively low shrink temperature (approx. 160°C) can be used to encapsulate a range of sensitive electrical components & instrumentation. It is a clear heat shrink tubing, FEP is effective in sleeving UV lamps and items where light transmission is required. Like PTFE, FEP shrink tubing enjoys universal chemical resistance and is non-aging.
FEP Protection Tube
FEP Tubing (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) is the preferred material in the production of small diameter tubing of continuous lengths. While some temperature resistance is sacrificed with FEP (to 204ºC/400º F), its chemical and dielectric properties are similar to those of PTFE. FEP tubing is a clear tubing that is an economical choice for applications requiring chemical resistance and broad temperature exposure. FEP Tubing offers excellent clarity which makes it ideal for sight glass/flow monitoring applications. FEP Tubing has a slightly higher coefficient of friction, lower continuous service temperature, and is more transparent then PTFE. FEP Tubing also has better gas and vapor permeability properties and excellent UV transmission ratings.
PTFE Protection Tube
PTFE (poly tetra fluoro ethylene) tube has the best chemical resistance of all known polymers. Its temperature range of -70C to +265C opens up PTFE tubing to many applications most other polymers can’t withstand. are ideally suited for the manufacture of high-temperature seals, insulators, and bearings used in semiconductor, aerospace & chemical processing industries. It has excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties and a low coefficient of friction. PTFE is very dense and cannot be processed by melting. PTFE must be compressed and sintered to form useful shapes.
Silicon Coated Fiberglass Sleeve
High heat, superior electrical characteristics: A closely woven, braided fiberglass uniformly coated with silicone rubber. Provides low-temperature flexibility -70°C, and heat protection to 200°C. The fiberglass sleeving material is heat-set, cuts cleanly, and will not fray.
