JMC – Silicon Nitride (Si3N4)
Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) thermocouple protection tube material is a good choice for thermocouple protection tubes, riser tubes, as well as for a whole range of other products with high thermal conductivity, high strength, and good thermal shock resistance.
Silicon nitride provides all these material properties. The material has such high strength that the wall thickness of the thermocouple protection tubes can be minimized. This is essential to detect even tiny temperature differences and permit an effective automatic control loop as precise and reliable temperature measurement is a critical requirement in all processes.

Mineral Insulated (MI) Thermocouple & RTD Cables
Mineral insulated cable is ideally suited to solve a wide variety of problem applications. The outer sheath is made from SUS316, Inconel 600 & Copper in a wide range of diameters, containing single or multiple solid conductors. Easily formed or bent, it can accommodate virtually any configuration. The outer sheath protects the thermocouple from oxidation and hostile environments, and the mineral insulation provides excellent high-temperature dielectric strength.

MTC Haldenwanger – MGO Thermocouple Insulator
The magnesium oxide insulator is used for the cartridge heater, the sheathed heater, and the glow plug because the magnesium oxide is superior in the electric insulation characteristics (1014Ω) and the heat conductance (60W・m-1・K-1).
The magnesium oxide insulator is used as an insulated core that wraps an exothermic wire and as a guide insulator that guides a metal wire. We can produce the magnesium oxide insulator of various purities and various densities (=strength). In addition, we can produce the high purity product and various shape and the size (outside diameter, hole diameter, pitch, and length). Therefore, if our insulator is used, it becomes easy to produce the heater.
