Sanitary RTD Sensors are designed for use in Sanitary or Hygienic Clean-in-Place applications in the Food, Dairy, Beverage, and Bio-Pharmaceutical industries. Temperature probes can be built with terminal heads out of stainless steel, aluminum die-casting, or plastic. Various process connections are available to meet the different requirements of individual food/pharmaceutical sectors. The protection tubes are made of stainless steel 316L. Optional programmable 3-wire transmitters can be used for longer transmission distances.

HOTTEMP Thermocouple Type HTC1
Mineral Insulated Thermocouples are made of a flexible, thin-walled insulated cable, in which the thermo-wires are embedded in compressed fire-resistant magnesium oxide. The good thermal transfer between the casing and the thermocouple enables short response times (t0.5 from 0.15 s) and excellent measuring accuracy. The vibration-resistant design guarantees long operating life. The smallest bending radius is 5 times the outer diameter. With a diameter of 1.0 to 10.0 mm, the insertion length (IL) is ≥ 100 mm. The thermocouples are designed to be insulated from the casing as standard. Duplex versions are also available.
